Meet your awesome Organizers.

We are a small, but suitably crazy collection of Writers who met on twitter and said, "Wouldn't it be cool if we could all get together...." Be careful what you wish for, especially if you post it on twitter. Chances are there is someone out there just as crazy as you are.

Kris F. Oliver

I live in sunny Sarasota, Florida where I spend an inordinate amount of time either floating around in a kayak or partially submerged in saltwater.  I have a pretty good excuse for both of those things. I’m a Biologist and run an EcoTourism business on the side. Basically, any day I am in a kayak is a good day.

I do my best writing in my trusty hammock. (Which should probably be a tax write off by now.) I love night swimming, stomping through swamps, getting lost in good movies, getting lost in general, making crazy art projects at 3am and playing the guitar (poorly).

Jen Meyers

I'm an indie author living in central New York with my husband and four crazy children. I've been a professional actress, singer, and artist, and I became a writer completely by accident when I lucked into a freelance job at a publisher. Having worked in the industry for more than 20 years and been traditionally published twice for nonfiction, I'm a HUGE proponent of self-publishing. Going the indie route with fiction was my first choice, and I've never regretted taking that leap. (In fact, the more time I'm indie, the more I love and believe in it.)

I write whenever I get the chance, which isn't often enough because we're an unschooling family (I wouldn't have that any other way, either). :-) My life is simultaneously crazy-busy and calm, and I do my best work when there's too much to do. I'm not a fan of rules, and prefer to do things my own way, on my own schedule (I've been freelance for too long...it shows). Also, I talk to myself. Out loud. A lot. (It's okay. I'm fine. Really.)

* That's the Official Story...she left out the part about how she is Awesome and Talented and a Beautiful Human Being.

Suzy G.

Suzy G likes creepy things and funny things. She writes a bit of both. A new convert to the idea of Indie publishing, she will have a few titles out in January 2014. She lives in the mountains with her husband and their three monkey butlers. Her spirit animal is pie.

*Once again Official Story fails to mention how terribly Awesome she is, not to mention pee-your-pants funny! I'm considering hacking into her blog just to rectify this.
